We got this turning slicer a couple of years ago (Dad randomly came back from work with one - I D E K) and I'd totally forgotten about it until I thought about buying a mandolin. Sure a mandolin would be useful, but you can't make curly fries with one of those.
The recipe is so simple. The most difficult part is putting the potato mixture inside the muffin tins. Or taking them out when they're done.
After you're done with a potato you're left with this stump which kind of resembles a mushroom. They're cool. Put them in the oven and you'll have a crispy potato mushroom.
