Switzerland, revisited

Here are some better photos of Switzerland. We stayed on Mt Rigi, at a hotel called Hotel Rigi First. It was a nightmare to get to but we were rewarded with real Swiss fondue. The second day we were there we went down to Lucerne where we had rösti. I would say Switzerland was the friendliest place we visited on the tour.


There was a castle! Told you it was stuff from fairy tales.

This is the Lion Monument.

The snow was fluffy, unlike in Rome or the Australian Snowy Mountains.


REAL SNOWFLAKES!


On the way back to the hotel there was a playground covered in snow. It was quite an achievement I didn't slip and crack my skull as this photo was being taken.


My furry beret caught lots of snowflakes.

There was a bench which overlooked the alps. It was kind of on a cliff's edge because beyond it was just a massive drop down.
